Vijay Mhetar
SVP, CTO, Kraton
Vijay Mhetar was appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer for Kraton Corporation in January 2017. He is responsible for Kraton’s Innovation Program, Global R&D and Technical Development activities. Prior to joining Kraton, Mhetar worked at General Cable Corporation from 2008 to 2017 where held numerous technical leadership positions including Sr. President of Global Technology. Mhetar also worked for General Electric Company as their Global Technology Manager.
Mhetar holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a masters in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, India. He is also Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified.
