Esben Lauge Sorensen

Esben Lauge Sorensen is Senior Technology Specialist working with syngas technology sale and promotion with Haldor Topsoe, as well as with technical support for Haldor Topsoe’s clients in Northern America. Prior to this position, he was General Manager for the R&D syngas department at Haldor Topsoe in Denmark. Sorensen was responsible for development of novel technologies and catalysts for synthesis gas generation and applications: Processes for production of methanol, gasoline, CO, syngas, formaldehyde, ammonia, DME and many more. Sorensen has a M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in process simulation from Technical University of Denmark.
