Esben Sorensen

Esben is Senior Director at Plug Power – responsible for global development of the Green Chemicals electrolyzer market. Esben has held that position for a little over a year and during that time facilitated relations with a host of the key players in the green chemicals market and presented at both conferences and webinars on the subject.

Esben has more than 30 years’ experience with Engineering, R&D and Sales from one of the major process licensors and has hence built up a both broad and deep understanding of all relevant business aspects of the green chemicals market.

Esben has more than 20 years’ experience leading teams and facilitating science conversion to business and is accordingly a true technology development stalwart.

Esben holds a Master in Chemical Engineering, a PhD in Process Simulation as well as the Certificate of Entrepreneurial Leadership – all from the Technical University of Denmark .
