Dhaval Shah

Dhaval Shah is currently the General Manager for Corporate Technology & Innovation at SABIC. He has a PhD in chemical engineering and has been working in the petrochemical industry for 20 years in a variety of R&D roles. He started his career with GE Plastics in 2001 and transitioned to SABIC in 2007 through the GE Plastics acquisition. Shah has diverse experiences ranging from innovations in the upcycled polyesters to advanced material solutions to new decarbonization and mixed plastics waste recycling technologies. He is based in Sugarland, Texas at SABIC Americas’ corporate research innovation center.
