Allie Thurmond
Asset Manager of U.S. GoM Exploration, Equinor
Allie Thurmond is the Asset Manager for US GoM Exploration in Equinor – an international energy company headquartered in Norway.
During her 17-year career in Equinor, she has held roles such as Vice President for Exploration in the Gulf of Mexico and Exploration Manager for Mexico as well as numerous leadership roles in Research and Development in both the US and Norway. Prior to joining Equinor, she had a career working as a Senior Supervisory Statistician for the US Department of Commerce.
Thurmond has a Ph.D. in Geosciences from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is a native of Louisiana and lived nearly a decade in Norway, but today calls Houston home. In addition to her work, she enjoys time with her family, traveling, and mentoring.
